Arts & Technology: Red Tails Movie Red Carpet Premiere

The highly anticipated movie, Red Tails based on the Tuskegee Airmen, a group of African American U.S. service members during World War II, is garnering a lot of buzz prior to it's January 20th release date. The movie stars: Academy Award Winner Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrance Howard, David Oyelowo, Nate Parker, Method Man, Ne-Yo, Tristan Wilds and Jazmine Sullivan. 

In advance of the worldwide release Red Tails is giving you front-row access to all the stars by living streaming their Red Carpet Event! The event takes place Tuesday, January 10th from 5-8pm. Details on the location and link are still TBD. (I will post as soon as they are made available).

Here's more background on the movie: The story goes on to tell about this crew of  pilots in the Tuskegee training program, having faced segregation while kept mostly on the ground during WWII.  They are then called into duty under the guidance of Col. A.J. Bullard. As the war in Europe continues to take its toll on Allied forces, the Pentagon brass has no recourse but to consider unorthodox options -- including the untried and untested African-American pilots of the experimental Tuskegee training program. With the stakes stacked high against them, these fearless young airmen take to the skies to fight for their country. (Source)
